BIOGRAPHY

jxshua bae (pronounced “Joshua Bay”) is a Korean-American Christian Artist from Virginia whose music reflects a deep commitment to faith, struggles faced as a Christian, authenticity, and spiritual impact. There was a time in his life where music was his only reason to live and that path had led him into darkness. It was in May 2023 where he was able to give his life to Christ and from there on there was new purpose and calling to live out his life in a way that honored God. It was at this point where he was willing to lay down music to God and move in a different career, however God had different plans. Without realizing, jxshua bae began to write songs, drawing inspiration from Scripture, personal testimony, and life lived through the lens of a Christian, his songs speak to those navigating faith in everyday life and doors began to open.

Blending worship, CCM, and faith-based pop influences, jxshua bae creates music that is both congregationally meaningful and culturally relevant. His heart for ministry extends beyond the platforms, aiming to encourage believers, reach seekers, and glorify God through excellence in music and message. His goal is to show what it looks like when one surrenders his dreams, desires, and identity to God. He hopes that the music will not be an amplification of himself but a glorification of what God can do.

Through TikTok, jxshua bae was able to build a fanbase, now looking to further his direction of music career, he knows that the most important goal is to stay grounded in his faith and continue to grow in the grace of God. Although there is joy and peace in this journey, this life has its struggles & obstacles, so he wants to make music that humanizes the faith. Whether leading moments of reflection or delivering anthems of hope, jxshua bae’s mission is simple: Bring Good News to both the world and the church.
